For those company directors with a salary just below the NI limits, we recommended a salary of £589 per month in 2011/12. For the coming year, unless we advise you separately, this is increasing to £620 per month.
We will shortly be finalising the end of year paperwork for payroll and submitting the online P35. For any of you that employ individuals or subcontractors and deal with your own payroll you need to ensure that the P35 is submitted online by 19 May at the latest. Any final payments to HMRC for the year must be with HMRC between 6th and 19th April.
For those of you who deal with your own payroll/CIS within the year but where we submits the year end figures to HMRC on your behalf, please ensure you let us have the details as soon as the final March figures are done.
Please ensure no P45s, P35s or any other PAYE paperwork is sent to HMRC on paper as this will attract a penalty. Everything needs to be done online.
