With the staging date for many small businesses drawing near, we have published new guidance on Auto Enrolment and practical implementation for Whitefield Clients:

We’ve also updated our Terms of Business to cover respective responsibilities for Auto Enrolment:

In summary, our terms of business provide:

~ Our fixed price services do not cover administration of Auto Enrolment in accordance with The Pension Regulator rules.

~ The responsibility for compliance with Auto Enrolment rules lies with you.

~ For businesses who are fully exempt from Auto Enrolment, on request we will at no cost liaise with The Pension Regulator to register the exemption.

~ Where we agree to provide Auto Enrolment related services, these will be subject to a separate agreement between us as to the scope of provision and its cost.

Over coming weeks we will be contacting clients to seek instructions about opting out, or to ascertain what level of support, if any, is required.
